Hi and welcome to our 10th newsletter.
The world continues to be an unstable place where each news report is more shocking than the last. Infinitely various needs cause a myriad of daily diversions. I am eternally grateful for those of you who spring to those needs, yet manage to continually pay attention to those which you've previously committed.
The '1 of 52' Artist Hunger Network continues to make strides due to the outstanding actions of its members. Please visit the Chronology of Events website page often to view them. Inspirational events have been taking place across the country including Rhode Island, Kentucky, Missouri and more.
And now, we are pleased to announce '1 of 52' actions will be spreading internationally with the recent addition of world renowned musician Al Copley who now represents the first of 52 in Europe. Al is originally from Westerly RI and now makes his home in Brussels, Belgium. He consistently donates his talents to make a difference including a performance of his UNICEF song "Come Make a Little Step of Peace" for the German 50th birthday party for UNICEF in Cologne, Germany. Al has recently added his actions to those of the '1 of 52' Artist Hunger Network. This marks the first of eventually 52 artists in Europe and demonstrates how the simple '1 of 52' concept is easily translatable to any area of the world.
In addition to adding our first international member, dozens of artists have signed across America bringing our total number of states with '1 of 52' Chapters started up to 19 plus Washington DC!
True to form, we have some great 1 of 52 Hunger Events coming up right through the holidays. (See Website for more details). If you have any upcoming '1 of 52' AHN Events that I'm not aware of/listed here, please email me with as many details as possible.
Thanks! Steve Maciel, Director.
